As we know that Barre Chords are the most important and amazing chords in the guitar chord family.But before we actually begin with barre chords we should know some terms like half step,whole step and we should also be familiar with the notes on the sixth strings of the guitar.
Half-Steps:- A half-step is the distance from any note to the very next note.
Whole-Steps:-A whole-step is two half steps put together.
On a guitar,Each fret is a half-step apart.

The Only Naturally Occurring Half-Steps are between E to F& B to C.
*Naturally Occurirng means that without using sharps and flats.

Sharps:-A sharp is a form of the chords just shifted a half step up like C chord is shifted a half step up and it becomes c-sharp symbolically c#.
Flats:-Similarly flats are the chords just shifted a half step down like C chord is shifted a half step down and is becomes c flat.
Now,another thing we have to learn is the chords on the sixth string of our guitar.
